Game coverage this week for SureWest Sports takes us all around the greater Sacramento region once again.

Perhaps the most intriguing game of the week takes place in the Capital Valley Conference on Tuesday between SureWest's No. 9 ranked Bella Vista Broncos and No. 10 Del Campo Cougars.

The game will be played at Bella Vista as both teams enter the contest with matching records of 19-4 overall, and 5-1 in league play.

In their first two meetings, Bella Vista prevailed both times (54-48, 64-57), but the winner of Tuesday night's match up will be in the driver's seat for a league title with only three games remaining.

The other boys game we'll see this week will take place on Friday with No. 11 Oak Ridge at No. 2 Jesuit.

As for the girls, a big Metro League showdown is set for tipoff on Wednesday between No. 6 Kennedy at No. 7 Florin, and we'll be in Placer County on Thursday when No. 11 Nevada Union heads to Rocklin to take on the No. 15 Thunder.

All the games will have league implications and an impact on the section's playoff power ratings.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday: Del Campo at Bella Vista (boys)

Wednesday: Kennedy at Florin (girls)

Thursday: Nevada Union at Rocklin (girls)

Friday: Oak Ridge at Jesuit (boys)
