We focus our attention this week on Placer County where we'll see a pair of very important Sierra Foothill League basketball games in both boys and girls hoops.
On Tuesday we'll be out to Del Oro High School to see the host Golden Eagles (3-0) take on the Roseville Tigers (3-0) in a boys SFL match up. The Tigers enter the game with a five game winning streak, including a win last week over Granite Bay.
Time permitting on Tuesday, we hope to see Faith Christian at Valley Christian (Roseville) in another boys contest featuring a pair of 5-0 teams in the Sacramento Metro League.
Wednesday's game will have us in Roseville to see SureWest's No. 10 ranked girls team, Del Oro (3-0), take on the host and No. 11 Woodcreek Timberwolves (2-1).
We're still determining what game we'll see on Thursday, but we finish up the week with a huge Delta River League showdown on the boys side where No. 4 Pleasant Grove plays at No. 1 Sheldon.
