This week’s SureWest Sports Show aired today online, and as always the show is filled with game highlights from high school sports around the Sacramento region.
Show 140 is an all-playoff version with section championship highlights from boy’s soccer as well as boys and girls water polo, plus opening round playoff action in football.
In boy’s soccer, it’s Bella Vista over Granite Bay in the Division II match and Davis over Jesuit in the Division I match up, both ending in penalty kicks.
Water polo action features the Del Oro girls capturing their first every section title, the Rio Americano boys riding a big second half to beat El Camino to make it back-to-back titles for the Raiders, and Davis takes down St. Francis for the third straight year.
Post game interviews from all the winning coaches, and as always, we talk to the Sacramento Bee’s Joe Davidson in our “Sports Chat” segment.
